Yoo hoo, over here handsome!
Everybody tries to attract traffic to their website. A few are very successful, most are not. The most important thing for search engine optimization (SEO) is to have a site that’s well designed and well written. We call this “user friendly” with “quality content”. This is a site that delivers the information the user is looking for and is easy to navigate. Because we are professional web designers and developers, we will always recommend that you use professional communicators for the best results. However, not everyone has the budget. If you do want to do-it-yourself, remember to always put the needs of the user first.
The other thing to remember is that Google is in the business of making money. A lot of their money is made by selling pay-per-click (PPC) advertising. They aren’t giving their secrets away on how to rise to the top of search results – they’re selling them. Again, if you have the budget, hire a professional, you will always get the best results. Professionals keep up-to-date on the latest google algorithms. If you don’t have the budget for a professional (starting fees about $700 a month, not including set-up) there are some basic things you can do yourself. So stay tuned for the next installment… do-it-yourself seo.
Hey there this is kinda of off topic but I was wondering if
blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML.
I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding knowledge so I wanted to get
guidance from someone with experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
We produce our blogs in WordPress and the editor can be WSYIWYG with a plugin. We do end up formatting a lot of the text with html. WordPress requires somewhat of a learning curve. You may want to look at something like Weebly if your needs are pretty simple.
